Dormer Pramet R457 10.00 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 10.00 mm carbide drill is built for precision, durability, and dependable hole quality across a wide range of materials. Its 140-degree four-facet split point enables self-centering starts with less push force, helping you avoid wandering holes and achieve clean entry every time.

Featuring a TiAlN coating and a DIN 6537 K stepped shank, it combines long tool life with secure, repeatable performance in tough job sites—from steel and stainless to aluminium. This drill is designed for professionals who value consistent results and faster cycle times.

• Self-centering 140° four-facet split point: Starts holes cleanly with reduced push force and minimizes wandering, delivering accurate starts in a range of materials.
• TiAlN coating for extended tool life: The Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating resists heat and wear, significantly extending tool life when drilling harder metals, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed for higher speeds: Combined flute geometry and through-coolant supply give added strength, better chip evacuation, and the ability to run at higher cutting speeds and feeds while maintaining hole quality.

This drill is built to improve productivity and consistency across jobs. You’ll benefit from precise, burr-free holes with tight tolerances (h9) in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, even at higher speeds. The sturdy carbide construction, TiAlN coating, and robust shank design reduce tool changes and downtime, helping you finish projects faster with reliable results.
