Dormer Pramet R457 15/32 Inch CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 15/32 Inch Carbide TiAlN Force-X Stepped Shank Coolant Feed Drill (DIN 6537 K) is a premium carbide drill designed for professional workshops. With a short-series body, stepped shank, and integrated coolant feed, it delivers dependable hole quality in steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, making it a solid choice for demanding production tasks.

Built to cut with speed and precision, its 140 degree 4-facet split point promotes self-centering and reduces entry push force. The TiAlN coating extends tool life and improves performance on harder materials, while the specially designed flute geometry with coolant feed supports higher speeds and feeds, delivering accurate holes with h9 tolerance.

• Self-centering 140° four-facet split point: Helps start cutting cleanly, reduces wandering, and lowers push force for consistent hole starts and smoother setups.
• TiAlN coating for longer life: Enhances wear resistance and performance when drilling harder materials, extending tool life and reducing tool changes.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed: Increases strength and enables higher speeds and feeds, with efficient cooling for better hole quality and reliability.

This drill is versatile enough to tackle steel, aluminium, and stainless steel with confidence, delivering high-quality holes with tight h9 tolerances even at higher speeds. Its robust carbide, combined with the Force-X stepped shank and coolant delivery, reduces downtime and supports repeatable results across jobs—from precision prototypes to rugged production runs. An ideal choice for engineers, machinists, and shop floors that value accuracy, durability, and consistent performance in challenging drilling applications.
