Dormer Pramet R457 6.30 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 6.30 mm carbide drill is a high-performance tool designed for professionals who require precise, repeatable holes across a range of materials. With a 6.30 mm diameter and a DIN 6537 K shank, it fits standard tool holders for easy integration into existing setups. The 140-degree four-facet split point starts cleanly, self-centers the hole, and reduces the push force needed to begin cutting—delivering quicker, more reliable starts.

Featuring a TiAlN coating and premium carbide body, this drill delivers extended tool life and steadier performance even when drilling tougher materials. The CTW flute design with coolant feed provides added strength and enables higher cutting speeds and feeds, while helping to evacuate chips efficiently for cooler, cleaner operations.

• 140°, 4-Facet Split Point: Self-centering starts and reduced push force, ensuring quick, accurate hole initiation with less wandering.
• TiAlN Coating on Premium Carbide: Hardened coating and solid carbide construction deliver longer life and better performance on harder materials like steel and stainless.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: Enhanced flute strength and coolant delivery allow higher speeds/feeds and more efficient chip removal for reliable, high-quality holes.

This drill helps you maintain high-quality hole tolerances (h9) at accelerated speeds and feeds, improving workflow, reducing downtime, and delivering consistent results across common machining materials. Its robust construction and compatible DIN 6537 K shank give you confidence to tackle demanding projects with precision and efficiency.
