Dormer Pramet R457 14.25 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 14.25 mm carbide drill is a high‑performance tool designed for DIN 6537 K applications. Its 140° four‑facet split point helps start holes cleanly and reduces the push force required, while the FORCE‑X stepped shank with coolant feed delivers stable cutting and efficient chip evacuation.

Coated with Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) and built from premium carbide, this drill is engineered for long life and reliable performance across a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. The specialized flute design and coolant delivery increase strength and enable higher cutting speeds and feeds, helping you complete holes faster with consistent quality.

• Self-centering 140° four‑facet point: Improves hole starting accuracy and reduces the effort needed to initiate drilling, minimizing wandering and tool wear.
• TiAlN coating for longer tool life: Enhances wear resistance and performance when drilling harder materials, extending tool life in demanding applications.
• Special flute design with coolant feed: Provides greater strength and allows higher speeds and feeds, delivering clean, precise holes with less heat and faster cycle times.

This high‑performance, versatile drill supports efficient workflows, minimizes downtime, and delivers repeatable, high‑quality holes across steel, aluminum, and stainless steel with tight tolerances. For professionals who demand reliability, speed, and consistent results in DIN 6537 K tooling, this drill is a dependable core choice for production and field work alike.
