Dormer Pramet R457 11.20 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 11.20 mm carbide drill is a high‑performance tool designed for professionals and enthusiasts who need reliable, precise holes through a range of materials. It features a 140° four‑facet split point for self‑centering starts and reduced push force, a Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) coating to extend tool life, and a CTW flute design with coolant feed to support higher speeds and better chip evacuation.

With a stepped shank and DIN 6537 K compatibility, this short-series drill is built for rigidity and repeatable accuracy in steel, aluminium, and stainless steel—delivering consistent results from the first hole to the last.

• 140° Four-Facet Split Point for Self-Centering and Easy Start: Starts holes precisely with less push force, reducing wandering and improving first‑hole accuracy.
• TiAlN Coating for Longer Tool Life: A wear‑resistant, heat‑tolerant coating that extends cutting life and maintains performance on tougher materials.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed for Higher Speeds and Cleaner Holes: Optimized flute geometry and coolant delivery boost strength, enable higher speeds and feeds, and improve chip evacuation and hole finish.

This drill helps you complete projects faster with consistent, high‑quality hole quality. Its robust carbide core, wear‑resistant coating, and optimized flute design reduce downtime, minimize tool changes, and deliver reliable performance across common metals. Whether you’re fabricating, maintaining equipment, or prototyping parts, the R457 drill provides confident, repeatable results with DIN 6537 K compatibility and a compact short‑series form for tighter workspaces.
