Dormer Pramet R457 35/64 Inch CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 carbide drill is a high‑performance tool designed for quick, accurate hole making across a range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. With a 35/64 inch diameter and a DIN 6537 K shank, it fits standard holders, while the FORCE-X stepped shank provides secure engagement in demanding applications for reliable, consistent drilling results.

This drill features a 140 degree 4‑facet split point that self-centers and starts cleanly, reducing starting push force and helping you achieve true, straight holes from the first cut.

• 140° 4‑Facet Split Point for Self‑Centering: Starts quickly with less wander, delivering clean, true holes and smoother entry in a variety of materials.
• TiAlN Coating for Longer Tool Life: The titanium aluminium nitride coating reduces wear, extending service life and maintaining performance when drilling harder materials.
• FORCE‑X Stepped Shank with CTW Flutes and Coolant Feed: Provides added rigidity, enables higher cutting speeds and feeds, and delivers coolant directly to the point for better chip control and improved hole quality (H9 tolerance).

Designed for engineers, buyers, tradespeople, hobbyists, and maintenance teams, this drill helps you achieve reliable, high‑quality holes with fewer reworks and faster setup times. Its robust carbide construction and coating work together to deliver dependable performance across a broad material mix, making it a trusted choice for demanding fabrication and production environments.
