Dormer Pramet R457 W CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

Introducing the Dormer Pramet R457 W carbide drill, engineered for dependable hole‑making across a range of metals. Whether in a machine shop, job site, or home workshop, it delivers precise starting accuracy and clean, true holes from the first cut.

Built around a premium carbide core with a TiAlN coating, this drill lasts longer when drilling hard materials and maintains sharpness between regrinds. The 140° four‑facet split point self‑centers, reducing push force and wandering. Combined with the FORCE‑X stepped shank and coolant feed, it stabilizes the cut for reliable performance in production environments.

• Self-centering 140° 4‑facet split point: Starts accurately with less effort and minimal wandering, enabling true hole alignment from the first cut.
• TiAlN coating for extended life: Increases wear resistance and tool longevity, delivering consistent performance on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed: Provides greater strength and allows higher cutting speeds and feeds, while efficient coolant delivery improves chip evacuation and reduces heat buildup.

This drill helps you complete jobs faster with repeatable results. It handles steel, aluminum, and stainless to deliver high‑quality holes with tight tolerances (H9). The durable carbide construction and wear‑resistant coating reduce downtime, giving you dependable performance work after work.
