Dormer Pramet R457 6.05 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 6.05 mm carbide drill is designed for professionals and serious hobbyists who demand reliable, high-precision hole quality across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. With a 140° four-facet split point for self-centering and reduced push force, a TiAlN coating to extend tool life, and a CTW flute design with coolant feed, this drill delivers steady performance in compact setups while meeting DIN 6537 K standards.

• Self-centering 140° four-facet split point: Helps start holes precisely without wandering, reducing push force and delivering cleaner penetration from the first cut.
• TiAlN coating for longer tool life: Increases wear resistance, boosting durability and enabling consistent performance even when drilling harder materials like stainless steel.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed and short Force-X shank: Improves rigidity and chip evacuation, allowing higher cutting speeds and feeds in tight spaces without sacrificing control.

This high-performance drill delivers precise, high-quality holes with h9 tolerance, enabling efficient workflows and fewer reworks. The premium carbide and coating combination provides reliable results across multiple materials, while the short shank and coolant feed support stable operation in portable or compact machining setups—making it a dependable choice for demanding fabrication and production environments.
