Dormer Pramet R457 9.20 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK COOLANT FEED SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R457 9.20 mm carbide drill is a high-performance cutting tool designed for reliable, precise hole making across a wide range of metals. With a 9.20 mm diameter and a short-series design, it’s built for both production environments and detailed fabrication work. The tool’s stepped shank and coolant feed support quick, repeatable setups and efficient heat management, helping you keep downtime to a minimum.

• Self-Centering 140° Four-Facet Point: Creates accurate starts with less push force, reducing wandering and improving first-pass hole quality for faster, more consistent drilling.
• TiAlN Coating for Extended Life: The Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating increases wear resistance and service life, delivering reliable performance on harder materials and through longer production runs.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: The optimized flute geometry plus coolant delivery provides greater strength and allows higher cutting speeds and feeds, boosting productivity without sacrificing hole quality.

This high-performance drill is suited for drilling steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, and it achieves precise holes with tight tolerances (h9). Its DIN 6537 K shank ensures compatibility with a wide range of holders, making it a dependable choice for engineers, shop floors, and dedicated hobbyists who demand consistent results.
